About the club
The Cottesloe Longboard Club was established in 1998 by Peter Dunn, with a vision of creating a welcoming community for people who share a love of longboarding and the ocean.
Over the years, the club has grown into a vibrant group of 100+ members, made up of both competitors and social members. Our members represent a mix of ages, backgrounds, and surfing abilities, from experienced longboarders to those simply looking to enjoy the surf and connect with others who share the same passion.
From February through to October, the club meets once and sometimes twice each month for our club rounds at Isolated Reef in Cottesloe.
Our club rounds are about more than just competition. They’re a chance to get in the water together, enjoy the waves, and celebrate the style and spirit of longboarding.
At the heart of the Cottesloe Longboard Club is a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. We value good surf etiquette, safety in the water, and the sense of camaraderie that makes surf clubs special.
Whether you’re competing in club rounds or simply joining as a social member, the club is about sharing waves, building friendships, and keeping the love of longboard alive.
